Programs

WHBA Awards are designed to encourage our members to go out and get involved with their WHBA registered animals. Some awards are easily attained within the calendar year. Others are honors that are awarded for lifetime achievements. The more you are involved with your WHBA mustang, mule or burro, the more recognition you are able to earn!

Equine Good Citizen

The purpose of the Equine Good Citizen Award is to encourage adopters to work with their animals and give them a skill set that increases their value, thereby giving them a better chance of being rehomed in the future if need be. It also helps develop a bond, as well as pride of ownership, between human and animal.
